Google Analytics & Consent Mode v2
We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2 to measure how visitors use our website
while respecting your privacy choices. The Google tag (gtag.js) loads on
every page, but its data collection behavior depends on your consent.
Before You Consent
By default, all four consent categories are set to denied. In this state, Google Analytics does not set any analytics or advertising cookies on your device. It does send anonymous, aggregated "consent signals" (sometimes called cookieless pings) to Google. These signals contain no personal identifiers and are used only for aggregate traffic modeling on our side.
Consent Categories
When you click Accept on the cookie banner, we update the following consent signals to granted:
analytics_storage— enables analytics cookies for measuring page views, sessions, and user flowsad_storage— enables advertising cookies (we do not currently run ads, so this has no immediate effect)ad_user_data— permits sending user data to Google for adsad_personalization— permits personalized ads
Withdrawing Consent
You can withdraw consent at any time by:
- Clicking Decline on the cookie banner (visible if you haven't yet chosen)
- Clearing your browser cookies and local storage for this site, then reloading
- Using your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or a privacy extension
Data Retention & Sharing
Analytics data is processed and retained by Google LLC under their standard data retention policy. Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated reports are retained indefinitely.
